Using a KWL Chart

What do you think you may KNOW about your topic?	What do you WANT TO KNOW?	What have you LEARNED?
NOW Brainstorm any words or ideas and write anything you think you may know already. Don't worry about information being vague or incorrect.	NOW Looking at what you already know about your topic, think about what you'd like to find out. Write these things in the form of questions.	LATER As you are writing your paper or preparing your presentation, it may be useful to look at the questions in the Want to Know column and to compare what you knew in the beginning with what you know now!
