a Library Lab with a Smart Board and 18 computers.

The Library web site provides access to
the library catalog
and a first-rate selection of
online subscriptions and databases. A unique feature
of the Fay Library web site is a separate page of useful
online resources for each project in every UPPER
SCHOOL and LOWER SCHOOL
course, organized by subject and indexed.

Upper School students may visit the
library individually or with a class to use library resources.
The library staff is always eager to help students with
research or book recommendations. Librarians help students
learn and teachers teach! The library staff collaborates
with both Upper and Lower School faculty to teach information
literacy skills within the context of research assignments.
An information literate person knows how to:
- Access information efficiently and
effectively;
- Evaluate information critically and
competently;
- Use information effectively, creatively
and responsibly.
