Showing Videos/DVDs for Recreational Use
Generally, fair use covers showing videos/DVDs in the classroom during face-to-face teaching. To show videos/DVDs for recreational use, a public performance license must be in place. If you find the movie you'd like to show on the MOVIE LICENSING USA web site, Fay School's license agreement covers showing it for recreational use. It is the teacher's responsibility to check!
